Academics – do you have an hour to spare to help our International Students find their feet?
The English Language Centre is currently looking for guest lecturers to assist with their Guest Lecture Program in October and November.
The Program is designed to help International Students get ready for their transition to study next Trimester. The guest lectures allow student to practice their listening techniques and note-taking skills.
There are approximately 50 students this term and the disciplines they hope to study next year include Business, Finance and Accounting, Nursing, Agriculture, IT, Scientific Studies and Education.
Your topic can be on anything from your field of expertise or interest and it should contain a minimal number of slides. All you will have to bring is your power point or similar material on a USB.
The lectures are on Tuesdays from 2 – 3pm, and ELC is looking for lecturers for the following dates: 11th & 18th October, 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd November.
