Stories Connect was a major program of the New England Writers’ Centre in 2019, focussed around encouraging creative expression and making connections between newly resettled Ezidi refugee families and other members of the Armidale community, through the sharing and creation of stories, pictures and music.
It was highly successful and has resulted in some wonderful creative work, fruitful community connections, and lots of fun which are celebrated and showcased in a fabulous multi-media exhibition! Come along and help celebrate Stories Connect with the creators, presenters, and school and community members who have taken part!
A free souvenir booklet will also be available.
