Cost: Nil. Course manual, morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided but please bring your lunch with you. You are welcome to use the fridge in the OD Training Room.
This course will cover the current Staff Recruitment Policy and procedures.
Other topics covered include relevant Legislation and supporting principles; establishing the panel; responsibilities of the Chair; responsibilities of the panel members; shortlisting process; effective interview skills; behavioural based questioning; reference checking; choosing the most suitable applicant; relevant documentation and understanding the importance of giving appropriate feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
