Digital Education was recognised in today’s ‘UNE in Conversation – Year in Review’ event as a 2021 success story. After being established through Time for Change at the start of 2021, the Digital Education portfolio has invested significant effort into realising the goals of Time for Change and FutureFit goals under Building Resilience. We’ve achieved some significant outcomes as a result and it was great to see these recognised in the wider university. These achievements include:

  • Building a culture of trust, openness and integrity through establishing shared vision and values that show up in our practices and behaviours
  • Implementing high-touch digital-first work practices through Teams that allow us to stay connected no matter where we are
  • Investing in work practices that allow us to achieve outcomes while prioritising wellbeing and manageable workloads
  • Nurturing our professional identity through establishing a shared Community of Practice
  • Designing new processes to streamline and standardise key workstreams
  • Building and investing in our connections to other areas in the university

We’re looking forward to continuing the successes in 2022.
