The Academic Development Team recently launched a student facing module generative AI: Generative AI and Academic Integrity at UNE. The myLearn course aims to guide students on ethical and appropriate use of AI and associated academic integrity issues. Anyone with a UNE account can enrol, with access remaining live for two weeks. At this stage it is not mandatory for students to do this module but we encourage academic staff to recommend completing this module to your students.
An updated version of the Academic Integrity Module (AIM) for students has also been released. The updated Module brings information on academic integrity up-to-date with current trends, particularly around artificial intelligence. To avoid versioning and access issues, new content sections are currently optional and available for educative purposes, with integration into the quizzes and badge planned later in the year.
