Our Staff on the Road: Dr Susie Hester visits NZ Ministry for Primary Industries in Wellington, NZ

by bamon2 | Nov 27, 2017 | Agricultural Economics, International Engagement | 0 comments

Susie Hester recently visited colleagues at the NZ Ministry for Primary Industries in Wellington to work on a project aimed at reviewing, and ultimately improving, how NZ responds to detections of new pests and diseases.

The project is undertaken through CEBRA (Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk analysis) based at the University of Melbourne, and is one of several that Susie is currently managing. She will return to Wellington before the end of the year, and we look forward to another update!

Dr Hester shares some scenery from her Wellington visit.
