Our staff on the road: Dr Susie Hester teaches Plant Biosecurity Masterclass in Bali

Dr Susie Hester, Deputy Director of the Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis (CEBRA) at the University of Melbourne, and Senior Research Fellow in NEBS, recently visited  Bali to teach into an International Master Class in Plant Biosecurity.

Twenty six young academics and public servants from across the Indonesian archipelago participated. They were provided with 11 days of intensive training from Indonesian, Malaysian and Australian experts in plant biosecurity.

Susie taught day three of the Master Class, on “Risk and Response”. The Master Class was co-funded by The Crawford Fund and the Plant Biosecurity Cooperative Research Centre (PBCRC).
