Dr Natasja Steenkamp with Professor Gabriel Donleavy

Dr Natasja Steenkamp’s seminar provided and discussed evidence of South African companies’ disclosure of integrated thinking, their basis of presentation, including materiality determination process and material issues in their integrated reports. The integrated reports of the top 10 South African companies of the Ernst & Young Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards were analysed to ascertain each company’s disclosures of the issues under investigation. The data was then analysed to examine their basis of presentation, similarities in materiality determination processes, commonalities in material issues and what they report about integrated thinking.

UNE Business School was pleased to host staff, students and community members for this seminar on Friday the 14th.

Material from the seminar can be downloaded via the UNE Business School Seminar Series resource page.
