School News: Working with EFMD in 2016

by bamon2 | Dec 20, 2016 | International Engagement, School News, Teaching Excellence | 0 comments

This year, UNE Business School has put significant work towards gaining accreditation with EFMD – the Management Development Network.

We are working towards gaining EPAS accreditation. EPAS is an international programme accreditation system operated by EFMD – the Management Development Network. It aims to evaluate the quality of any business and/or management program that has an international perspective and, where of an appropriately high quality, to accredit it.

We have been working within the EDAF program, EFMD GN Deans Across Frontiers (EDAF). EDAF aims to assist Business Schools to develop further through mentoring of the institution’s Senior Management Team. The school has completed a preliminary Self-Assessment. On receiving the positive report from EFMD as part of the advisory process, we are pleased to share that the School is already in the process of addressing our action items.

It is likely that the School could accelerate our entry into the EPAS Accreditation Program, so we are putting forward our objectives to be met by mid 2017, we will then be admitted into the EPAS assessment program and that will then take 6 to 12 months.
