The Enduring Community Value from Mining (ECVM) team are soon to deliver a toolkit for remote communities built with the intention of assisting management of the impacts to the community from various stages of the mine life cycle.

Lead by Principal Research Leader, Dr Boyd Blackwell at the UNE Business School, the team has been busily preparing a toolkit that will give remote communities key tips and tricks in negotiating with mining companies.

Anne Fordham, CRC REP scholar at UniSA, has drawn from her PhD on Corporate Social Responsibility of mining companies in remote and regional Australia to contribute to the preparation of the toolkit.

Once the toolkit is finalized it will be made publicly available with links via the ECVM website.
