Dr Peter McClenaghan and Dr Philip Harrell were invited facilitators for the international accreditation program “Leading, Managing, and Coaching by Values ©”, lead by the ESADE Future of Work Chair Professor Simon Dolan in Barcelona, Spain in April this year.

Dr Harrell and Dr McClenaghan are two of only five internationally accredited Master Coaches for this program.
In addition Dr’s Harrell and McClenaghan together with Dr Kristine Karamura were invited to deliver a symposium titled “Organisational and Individual Values Alignment: Lessons in Innovation, Student Leadership and Values Transmission” to a full house at the ESADE Business School based on their current work in values and leadership – they are both off to Brazil in July to present papers from this symposium at the International Society for the Study of Workplace and Organizational Values (ISSWOV) conference in Belo Horizonte.
Dr Harrell’s paper, “Values as an Organisational Resource: Critical Aspects of Leadership Behaviour in Values Transmission” is based on his leading edge research into leadership practices at a number of multi-national organisations operating in Australia.
Dr McClenaghan is presenting preliminary data from his current consulting and research at International House Charles Darwin University titled “The Nexus Between Values Based University Student Leadership Development Outcomes and Employer Expectations”. This research based on a 2 year student leadership development program at CDU is also feeding information into the development of an ENACTUS student leadership academic unit currently in development in the UNE Business School and an OLT funded project involving the Office of the PVC Academic, Professor Nick Reid (Chair of Academic Board), Ms Alicia Zikan (New England Award convenor), and Mr Koady Humphries (ENACTUS UNE President).
