In May 2016, Dr Leopold Bayerlein was invited to join the national assessment panel for the Australian Office of Learning and Teaching 2016 Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
The assessment panel met in Sydney on 30 May 2016 to assess over 150 teaching awards application from all Australian Universities.
Earlier in the month, Leopold was invited to Melbourne by the Pro-Vice Chancellor Academic of La Trobe University to present a keynote address at a La Trobe teaching development day, and to advise individual academic staff and learning designers on best practice blended learning initiatives.
In June, Leopold was invited to join an Economy focused discussion panel on the ABC’s New England North West Breakfast Radio Program to discuss the economic initiatives of all political parties for the upcoming federal election.
