Undergrad On Campus Students – Research Participation Opportunity plus you will be given a $20 gift voucher.

What do you understand about the data that the university collects about you to support your learning?

We are asking undergraduate students about their understanding of the types of data that the university collects about them, and how this data is used. The study has been approved by the University of Melbourne Human Ethics Committee (#1545203) and ratified by the University of New England Human Ethics Committee 17 May, 2016.

What’s involved?

You will be asked to participate in a focus group (approx. 30-45 mins long). The final focus group will be held at 10am Thursday 28 July in Dixson Library.

Why should you get involved?

We want to understand more about how we can ensure effective and appropriate use of your data to improve your educational experience. The focus groups is part of a research project entitled “Student perceptions of how data is used for learning in higher education”. Similar focus groups are running at the University of Melbourne and the University of New South Wales.
PLUS, you will be given a $20 gift voucher to thank you for your time and commitment to the study.
