An article in the South Burnett Times late last week celebrated the hard work of one of UNE’s Agriculture/Business students, Rebecca Clapperton. She was awarded the South Burnett Mayor’s Bursary, recognising Rebecca’s contribution to her local community, and her hard work towards developing her skills as a primary producer. The Bursary was one of 26 offered by the National Council of Women Queensland.
Rebecca studies with UNE full-time and is off to Wyoming, USA in August for a 6 month exchange program. We’re looking forward to hearing more about her trip, and congratulate her for this great recognition of her leadership and involvement in her local community.
