UNE Business School’s Professor Amarjit Kaur was recently elected as a full member of the Royal Society of NSW (patron: Gov-General of NSW).

In 2015, Prof Kaur was invited by the Royal Society of NSW and the 4 Australian Academies to present a paper on the new labor precariat in Southeast Asia, titled “Shifting Global Porduction Systems, Labour Market Flexibility and the new Precariat in Southeast Asia”.

Prof Kaur was invited to join the Royal Society of NSW by the President, Em. Professor David Brynn Hibbert FRSN and was subsequently nominated for membership. In May this year, Prof Kaur was elected by the Royal Society of NSW at the annual meeting in Sydney.
