UNE Business School was well represented at the recent AARES Conference in Brisbane. The annual conference provided an opportunity for academics from the school to present on a range of research topics, including:

Dr Simone Valle de Souza in her role as Deputy Director of the UNE Centre for Local Government, acted as a convenor for the mini-symposium on “Climate resilient water sources: Economic efficiency, implementation and public acceptance of recycled water“.
With the sponsorship from Australian WaterSecure Innovations, the mini-symposium presented a discussion on the virtues and complications of recycled water, between an International speaker, Professor Rui Marques from the University of Lisbon and not less renowned economists, Jeff Bennett, from ANU, Lin Crase from UNISA and Pierre Mukheibir from the Institute for Sustainable Futures, UTS.
