The University of New England is hosting the ASCILITE (Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education) 2020 conference virtually due to COVID-19 on Monday, 30 November and Tuesday, 1 December.

A great line up of presentations will begin with a FREE TurnItIn workshop, followed by the keynote presented by Professor Shane Dawson, Executive Dean of Education Futures and Co-Director of the Centre for Change and Complexity in Learning from the University of South Australia.

The Conference will have presentations resulting from double-blind peer reviewed papers or Pecha Kucha (20 slides in seven minutes). Presenters are truly international, hailing from Australia, Canada, Chile, Denmark Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States.

Registrations are still open and anyone from the UNE community can sign up for a Virtual Attendance only – the member rate is only $25.

There are currently over 300 registrations for the conference. On the same page, you can also register for the TurnItIn workshop on Plagiarism. The software is similar to what is used at UNE and will take place on Monday morning at 9:30am (AEDT).

Please see the ASCILITE Program for more information. Many UNE colleagues will also be presenting at the conference.
