Zenal’s Innovation project research focuses on the development of an inclusive business model for the Indonesian beef industry.  The research involves the identification of business models in the Indonesian smallholder beef production and marketing system that represent innovation behaviour, looking specifically at their value proposition, value architecture, and financing mechanism.  The aim is to provide a novel and sustainable approach to address the constraints faced, regarding establishing a balance between domestic supply and demand, and improving farmer’s welfare in terms of profitability and stability of income. Zenal’s research involves engagement with policy makers, research organisations, extension service providers, and industry.  Based on series of empirical evidence and critical analysis, Zenal’s Portfolio will capture the research, development and anticipated impact of his project.
