UNE celebrated Winter Graduation, the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication for over 900 students, last weekend.
More than 360 graduates, their families and friends attended the three ceremonies.
Altogether five Chancellors’ Research Medals, two University Medals and 11 New England Awards were awarded to graduands in recognition of academic achievement and student contribution to university activities including volunteering.
Fifteen students were inducted into the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholar program in acknowledgement of their outstanding academic achievement. To qualify these students had to maintain a grade point average of 6.7 or higher during the course of their studies.
