The Booloominbah restoration project is nearing completion. Costing an estimated $1.5 million, the project had to source experts in leadwork from the UK as there wasn’t any local expertise available. ABC New England North West has compiled this short, informative video on the project, which included work  undertaken to repair damaged roofing fabric and roof plumbing, including terracotta tiles and capping, lead flashings, metal roof decks, and painted gutters and downpipes.
