Do you use contracts in your work at UNE?

Whether you are procuring goods and services, entering into a research or other agreement, you may be interested to know what is happening in the Legal Office.

We are busy working to streamline our contract approval process (we’ve just processed our 735th contract for the year, so process efficiency is very important to us), and the first step is the introduction of the Request for Legal Approval (RLA) form. This will replace the old ATSA (Approval to Sign Agreement) form.

An RLA must be completed and signed by the person responsible for the contract, and signed off by the Head of School, Directorate or equivalent.

The forms can be found on the Legal Office webpage here.

If you need more information about what an RLA is and when you might need to use it, please get in touch with the university’s Legal Office via email legal@une.edu.au.
