UNE commenced a project last year to review alternative options for its Learning Management System (LMS), currently Moodle.

This project forms part of a wider range of projects under the Digital+ Connected Learning program. Its aim is to not just to select the most appropriate LMS for UNE going forward, but also create opportunities for the uplift of UNE’s teaching units.

We have now reached the final stage of the evaluation process and will soon have “sandpit” test environments available with shortlisted vendors that we can open up to interested staff and students for testing and evaluation.

We would like to invite you to take part in the evaluation process. We have scheduled a webinar for Monday to share more background on the project and information on how you can get involved.

Monday, 24th January at 9.30am (to 10.15am)

More information on how to sign up for testing and the testing process as well as an update on the project will be made available in the webinar as well as the Digital Education blog at https://blog.une.edu.au/diged from early next week. Testing will be open for 6 – 8 weeks from the beginning of February.

The testing process will be conducted as part of a formal tender process and is therefore subject to confidentiality rules. If you take part in the testing, you will be asked to agree to a confidentiality deed and not share information about the testing or your feedback with colleagues, students or external parties.
