Are you a female enrolled in a Bachelors of Masters course? Are you intending to work in the domestic violence area of practice? If this sounds like you, you may be eligible for the Sabine Altmann Memorial Award of $1500. Applications close 2nd of November.

These courses can include but aren’t limited to social work, community services, counselling, psychology, nursing, health management, medicine, law, public policy or criminology who are intending to work in the domestic violence area of practice

The Zonta Club of Armidale Inc seeks to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women, both locally and worldwide. The Club offers this award in memory of Sabine Altmann, who worked as a Domestic Violence Coordinator in Northern and North-Western NSW. Her role was to co-ordinate the resources of the police, government agencies and non-government organisations, to target domestic violence.
