The Being Herd workshop trains and supports young people, aged 18-30, to build the skills and confidence to share their lived experiences of mental ill-health and their journey towards reaching out for support. During this period, batyr’s Being Herd workshops have moved online.

On Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of August,  they will be running another FREE online workshop specifically for young people from regional, remote and rural communities in NSW.

The aim of the program is to enable you to tell your story in a constructive and empowering way that may one day benefit another person going through a difficult time. Some people choose to come along to the workshop to build their confidence to share their experiences with family and friends, some may want to be able to better articulate themselves to mental health professionals and others are looking to become mental health advocates.

For more information on the workshop and applying to participate, please check out the batyr website.
