It’s Census Date – Monday 23rd March: Still weighing things up?
We understand that the situation regarding COVID-19 is fast moving and that many of you are feeling uncertain.
Please be assured that we’re committed to supporting all students through whatever decisions you make, both today and throughout the trimester. You can find further information about your options if you proceed with your studies here: https://blog.une.edu.au/studentexperience/2020/03/21/census-date-confused-or-uncertain-stay-informed-about-your-options-and-the-support-available-to-you-throughout-the-trimester/
If your circumstances change or you receive new information following the Census Date, and this results in you being unable to continue with your studies in Trimester 1, you can apply for a Remission of Fees (recovery of your unit fees). Changes in circumstance may include personal circumstances such as childcare/schooling/work arrangements, but also relates to the provision of new information to you by the university, that was unavailable to you at Census Date (today).
You can read more about the types circumstances and required supporting documentation on the online form.
