Here at UNE approximately 80-90% of students study online and many of you are juggling full-time, part-time or casual work alongside your studies. 

The Careers Toolkit has been designed to assist you at any stage of your career, with information for students who have never experienced a job application process, those who have been out of the workforce for a period of time, through to those with extensive employment history. 

The platform features Industry reports which outline key considerations for major employment industries across Australia. This ensures that you’re aware of the latest trends and expectations when seeking out and applying for roles and will assist you to move into the application process with eyes wide open regarding typical salaries and the industry overview that is relevant to you. If you’re already experienced in your field but looking to stay up to date with the latest in your area, the Careers Toolkit has you covered!

Aptitude tests will allow you insight into the tests that employers (particularly for Government Department roles) use to measure aptitude. You can practice using a wide variety of commonly used assessments, to improve your chances of performing well during a real recruitment process. 

CV360 is a fantastic tool for those who might have had a break from the workforce or have not undertaken a job application process recently. This allows you to upload your current CV and provides guidance on ways to improve this. If you’re starting from scratch, you can find templates and resources to identify practical elements that you need to include in your CV to provide exactly what employers are looking for.
