Having trouble with Moodle or MyUNE login? Here is how to fix it!

Update 25/11/2019:

We understand that many students have had issues logging into MyUNE and Moodle over the weekend, and with today being Census Date (11:59pm tonight) we know that this is a stressful time to encounter issues. 

If you need to withdraw from a unit or pay an invoice and are having troubles logging in, please make sure to give us a ring on 02 6773 2000, send us an email or use Live Chat to speak with a Student Advisor so that we can best assist you! We’ll be here till 6pm tonight.

 

Getting back online:

We realise that some of you are having trouble logging into either MyUNE or Moodle. If you are receiving an error message when attempting to log in, try these steps;

  1. Please try opening a fresh browser window.  Make sure all other windows are closed.
  2. Clear your browser cache (see how to for your browser in the links below)

Firefox (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache)

Safari (https://clear-my-cache.com/en/apple-mac-os/safari.html)

Chrome (https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en)

  1. Try logging in again
  2. If this fails again, please restart your machine and try again.
  3. If this fails, please let ITD Helpdesk known and we can investigate. Contact ITD by;

It’s also a good idea to delete your old bookmarks or shortcuts and save this new one to prevent any further issue.

    No, I do not know how to clear my ….whatever, I just want to access my Une work. I expect an assignment extension because I CANNOT GET ON TO MY UNIVERISTY WEBSITE, what the hell??? rscottsm@myune.edu.au. for whatever good that will do. I am not IT, I just expect to be able to do my work. I cannot believe this. Robyn

    I am having the same issues. I have logged a query. Login issues were inconsistent initially. Now I can’t log in at all. I have tried the suggested fixes without success. This issue is affecting study.

    Glad I’m not the only one having problems!! Census is today and I need to unenroll from a subject soooooooo this should be interesting! Can’t even get onto myune at the moment and can’t get past any login screen on any browser!

    I need to withdraw from a subject today to avoid HECS debt. I have logged in on several occasions since the update but not today. Not on Chrome, Firefox or Explorer. Not with the cache cleared. Not on a different PC. I have to work and am not sure how long I will be able to spend on the phone to IT. Hoping it is fixed soon.

        I’m also having the same problem. I’ve been given some ways to try and even followed the instructions above but still unable to log in. I really don’t know what to do. Can you please help me fix this problem? Thanks

        I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues. These solutions were provided following a specific issue in November regarding an authentication issue. It’s always a good idea to try clearing your cache as directed above, however, if you’re still encountering the problem you’ll be best to contact our IT Support Team directly on 02 6773 5000. They’re available 8.30am-9pm on weekdays and 9am-5pm on weekends.
