As a university student, you have the opportunity to complete a short course in Mental Health First Aid for Tertiary Students (MHFA).

This course helps you develop practical skills to assist fellow students who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

It includes both a self-paced eLearning component, followed by a four hour face-to-face workshop, which can be completed at UNE’s Armidale campus. View the MHFA poster for further details.

If you’d like to complete the course, you’ll need to register for both the eLearning and face-to-face components.

Self-paced eLearning

The eLearning section of the course is available to complete at home, where you will have access to a number of case studies, videos and resources online. You will be able to complete this component up to three months prior to attending a workshop.

The cost for this section is $50 per person.
