IT maintenance is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, 20th July 2019 between 6am and 6pm. As a result, some services will experience periods of disruption.
Staff and on-campus students should expect intermittent outages as systems are restarted following maintenance updates. Network connections (including the wireless network) as well as internet access will be unavailable in different locations across campus during the day.
Adobe Connect will be finally decommissioned this weekend.
Adobe Connect
Our old Adobe Connect server will be switched off on Saturday, 20th July 2019. If you have old meeting recordings in Adobe Connect that you would like to keep, please make sure you create an offline version of the recording before that date.
For off-campus students: Moodle and student email should NOT be affected.
- No work is planned on Moodle. However, we recommend that you download any materials (such as readings and lecture recording) you require over the weekend to your local system to make sure you have access in case of any on-campus network outages or disruptions that affect connections to local systems. Just re-iterating, If access via MyUNE is not available, please access your units directly in Moodle (http://moodle.une.edu.au),
- Student Email (Office365 emails @myune.edu.au) should be available throughout the day.
This event is one of ITD’s scheduled maintenance windows, during which essential work is carried out to enhance and improve University systems.
The schedule of maintenance windows for 2019 can be found on the ITD website – https://www.une.edu.au/staff-current/staff-services/it-services/it-maintenance-dates
Service Desk support will be available during the weekend from 10am to 6pm, please contact servicedesk@une.edu.au or http://une.service-now.com if you are experiencing problems after the maintenance outage.
I can’t get into any of my subjects in Moodle.
Fantastic. My only day off work to do uni and I can’t even get in.
Use the direct link to Moodle

Hi guys,
Thanks Alicia, that’s correct! As noted in our blog post, Moodle and student email are available through the direct links even when maintenance is occurring in myUNE.
It’s a great idea to bookmark the direct links and if you have concerns about the impact of maintenance days then it might also be helpful to save the IT maintenance schedule using the link in the blog. 🙂
I hope that you were both able to get into your units and if you are experiencing any ongoing access issues today, please don’t hesitate to give IT a ring on 02 6773 5000.
Kind regards,
Amy
