T1 2019: Academic Skills Webinars & First Year Moodle Unit

Check out our most recent video for an update on some great sessions coming up. All the details you will need to register are listed underneath the video.

The Academic Skills Office and Counselling will hold a series of webinars for students between 11-26 March. On campus sessions will be held in the Letters Room, Dixson Library. The ASO will also deliver these sessions by webinar from 6.30-7.30pm online in the ASO Moodle site.

The webinar program for online students is as follows:

Monday 11 March, 6.30-7.30pm: Study Gym
Wednesday 13 March, 6.30-7.30pm: Time management
Thursday 14 March, 6.30-7.30pm: Planning written assignments
Monday 18 March, 6.30-7.30pm: Referencing and using sources
Wednesday 20 March, 6.30-7.30pm: Academic writing
Saturday 23 March, 6.30-7.30pm: Exam preparation

If you are a first year student and you are off campus, you can enrol in the First Year Academic Skills Support Moodle unit.

This site offers you a number of services to help with essential study skills, such as time management, assignment and referencing information, and general writing skills. On this site, You can also access assignment consultations, ask quick questions on forums and get help on a daily basis.
