An issue affecting staff logging into Skype for Business has been identified this morning, 9 January 2025. 

Staff attempting to log into Skype for Business are seeing a continuous “signing in” screen. Staff already logged into Skype for Business are able to use the application as normal.

Skype for Business is used for all telephony at UNE. Internally, staff can still make calls to other staff through Microsoft Teams, but staff being affected by this major incident will not be able to make or receive external calls. 

We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and Technology and Digital Services (TDS) staff are working to get service restored as soon as possible.

UPDATE 12.45pm: The issue with Skype for Business should now be resolved. The resolution may take some time to update for all staff. If you are still having issues, please contact IT Support via the IT Service Portal
