Technology and Digital Services (TDS) will be installing critical updates to UNE’s campus firewalls between 8.30pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday 3 December 2024 to resolve a vulnerability identified by the manufacturer. Ensuring all systems at UNE are secure is critical to our business, and this requires emergency changes to be completed. Several upgrades across our multiple firewalls will be performed during this timeframe whilst ensuring maximum up-time for the campus network.
Users on all UNE campuses and remote centres, as well as those connecting in via VPN will notice multiple disruptions throughout this change window and are advised to refrain from undertaking any work as these disruptions could impact your work.
