TDS (Technology and Digital Services) next maintenance window is scheduled for Saturday 13th July 2024.
TDS will be undertaking critical work on UNE’s campus firewalls and core network routers; this work is part of TDS’ core network and firewall upgrade project replacing old infrastructure with new modern infrastructure with improved performance and security features. This work will result in large network disruptions throughout the change window (0600-1600) to all users on-campus and users remotely connecting via VPN (Virtual Private Network). Staff and students external to UNE can still access online UNE resources as usual.
For off-campus students: MyLearn and student email should NOT be affected, although the login may be impacted intermittently.
- No work is planned on MyLearn. However, we recommend that you download any materials (such as readings and lecture recordings) you require over the weekend to your local system to make sure you have access in case of any on-campus network outages or disruptions that affect connections to local systems. If access via MyUNE is not available, please access your units directly in MyLearn.
- Student Email (Office365 emails @myune.edu.au) Should be available throughout the day.
This event is one of TDS’ scheduled maintenance windows, during which essential work is carried out to enhance and improve University systems.
