QBSA

If your students can no longer access QBSA, it likely means that the 90-day continued-access grace period following the expiry of your previous application agreement* has ended.

You can check your school’s current application agreement expiry date via the following steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickSmart Portal account: https://qso.une.edu.au/
  2. Click on “Institution List” in the left-hand side menu
  3. In the “Actions” column on the far right, click on the blue “linked applications” icon.
  4. Click on the relevant application tab (Numeracy Licence and/or Literacy Licence).
  5. The expiry date will be listed in the third column.

If the application agreement has expired, you can renew it by filling out and submitting the form on this page: https://simerr.une.edu.au/quicksmart/renewal-forms/

OZCAAS

If your school is still using OZCAAS and it has started a countdown timer (or has stopped working), it may mean that you are currently not using the 2023 version of the application and you will need to update it.

To update the application, click into the OZCAAS section of the Private Area in the QuickSmart Portal and follow the download instructions carefully.

If you cannot see the Private Area, it means that your school’s application agreement has expired and you can renew it by filling out and submitting the form on this page: https://simerr.une.edu.au/quicksmart/renewal-forms/

***

Please note that we are encouraging schools to start using the new QBSA assessment application instead of OZCAAS for QuickSmart Numeracy and Literacy lessons this year. Please see this blog post for more information: https://blog.une.edu.au/quicksmart-dashboard/qbsa-transition-guide-now-available/

Please also note that the renewal form covers both QBSA and OZCAAS 2023. It also covers both Numeracy and Literacy if your school has previously purchased both programs.

If you require technical assistance, please contact our IT Support on 02 6773 5061 or quicksmarthelp@une.edu.au

*Please note that this “application agreement” was previously called the “OZCAAS licence”.
