QBSA

If your students can no longer access QBSA, it likely means your school’s QuickSmart program licence has expired. There is a 90-day continued-access grace period following the expiry of your previous agreement.

You can check your school’s current application agreement expiry date via the following steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickSmart Portal account: https://qso.une.edu.au/
  2. Click on “Institution List” in the left-hand side menu
  3. In the “Actions” column on the far right, click on the blue “linked applications” icon.
  4. Click on the relevant application tab (Numeracy Licence and/or Literacy Licence).
  5. The expiry date will be listed in the third column.

If the application agreement has expired, you can renew it by filling out and submitting the form on this page: https://simerr.une.edu.au/quicksmart/renewal-forms/

OZCAAS

If your school is still using OZCAAS and it has started a countdown timer (or has stopped working), it means that you are still using the 2023 version of the application.

We are strongly encouraging schools to start using the QBSA application instead of OZCAAS for QuickSmart Numeracy and Literacy lessons this year, as OZCAAS may not be available in 2025. Please see the documents and videos in the “QBSA Information” section of the Portal to start your QBSA journey (the Transition Guide is a good place to begin).

If you still need to continue using OZCAAS this year, you will need to update it to the 2024 version. To do this, please send an email to quicksmart@une.edu.au and request a link to download the 2024 version of OZCAAS, as it is no longer available to download directly from the Portal.
