The Digitisation Working Group (UNE Collections Committee) are trying to gather information about the different types of collections-based resources that UNE has and how they might be digitised. Digitisation of a collection may mean 3D scanning of specimens, recording sounds/music, scanning printed material, photographs or archival material, etc.  They have identified the following collections:

  • Museum of Antiquities (UNEMA)
  • Geoscience (rocks fossils minerals literature)
  • UNE and Regional Archives
  • Beadle Herbarium
  • Gordon Anderson music collection
  • Music instrument objects and artefacts collection
  • Ethnomusicology Collection
  • UNE Art Collection
  • Natural History Museum (NHM)
  • Library Special Collections
  • Children’s Collections
  • First Nations Collection
  • Archaeology Collection
  • Oorala Collection

To ensure the team has captured it all, please let them know about your collection (it may not be listed), especially details about digitisation using the following questionnaire.
