The Vice-Chancellor hosted a morning tea on Monday to thank the convenors that hosted 34 focus groups in June as part of the University’s consultation on values and behaviours.
These convenors stepped up to lead a series of structured conversations across UNE, giving around 500 staff the chance to share their views on the values and behaviours needed to support UNE’s new strategy.
The feedback gathered from the focus groups built on the earlier Values and Behaviours Survey, resulting in a draft document that reflects the language and priorities of our community.
Staff can now review and comment on the latest draft via the Strategy SharePoint site.
The final draft values and behaviours will accompany the draft strategic plan going to Council later this year. The development of an implementation plan and actions has begun, with more information to follow in the coming months.
Regular updates will be shared on planned embedding activities. If you’d like to be involved or have practical ideas, you can register your interest via the SharePoint link above.
