The University of New England’s research repository, RUNE (Research UNE), has recently undergone a significant upgrade to better serve our research community. This enhancement marks an important step forward in how we showcase and share UNE’s research outputs.

The upgrade to DSpace 7 brings with it a more intuitive and modern interface, making it easier for depositors and visitors to navigate the repository.

Key improvements for researchers and visitors include:

• A streamlined, contemporary user interface including better metrics display
• A more responsive design that works across devices
• Better integration with modern web browsers and technologies

The RUNE team continues to fine-tune the system to ensure it meets the specific needs of our research community and streamline some submission forms. We welcome your feedback as we work to optimise this important platform.
