SBS News and Current Affairs are inviting UNE academics and researchers to support an important initiative aimed at enhancing the diversity of expert perspectives in their reporting.
As part of their commitment to inclusivity, they have created an expert’s database that will feature professionals from various disciplines. They believe that a broad range of expert voices is essential for accurate and comprehensive reporting. To facilitate this, they are asking reputable organisations to encourage its members and researchers to self-nominate by filling out our nomination forms.
They have two distinct forms available: one for non-Indigenous experts and a specific form for Indigenous experts. This dual approach ensures that they capture a wide array of insights and experiences, reflecting the rich diversity within they community, and increase the number and diversity of First Nations voices across SBS reporting.
Forms:
- SBS News Expert Self-Nomination Form
- SBS News Expert Self-Nomination Form. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Talent
