Submissions for the 2025 People and Culture Aboriginal art competition are now open.

If you are an artist of Anaiwan, Biripi, Gomeroi or Dharug descent make sure you submit a deadly artwork.

The competition is open to Anaiwan, Gomeroi, Biripi and Dharug descendants only.

• The winning four artworks will be awarded cash prize of $1000 each artwork.
• Open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and their family members.
• Artwork is to be on a 30.5cm x 40.6cm canvas and artist is to submit an image for judging purposes

The winning design will be used in the newly developed UNE Aboriginal Employment Strategy 2025-2029. Submissions close Midnight, October 6
