To mark the night of the winter solstice, Uralla will play host to two fun and free space themed events for the whole family on Friday, 21 June.

  • Constellations of the South is a free family stargazing event from 6 – 8pm.
    There’ll be giant telescopes, laser guided tours of the stars, hot drinks and internationally renowned astronomer Professor Fred Watson on hand to answer questions and help you ponder your place in the universe.
     
  • Space Trivia begins at 8pm at The Alternate Root. This free trivia night is presented by the University of New England & Northern Tablelands Astronomical Society (UNENTAS). Trivia bookings @ The Alternate Root

A free shuttle bus will operate from 6pm between The Alternate Root and Constellations of the South.
