EBE (Estate & Built Environment) have strengthened their green credentials with the purchase of a new electric mover.

Constructed from aircraft grade aluminium, the lightweight mower emits zero carbon emissions – the equivalent of taking 140 cars off the road each year – and comes with savings in fuel costs and about 70% savings in maintenance costs.

The battery is engineered to sit within 20cm of the ground providing for an ultra-low centre of gravity and excellent stability on the slopes. It delivers up to seven hours of mowing and is good for over 9,000 hours.

In good news for staff who like a quiet, early start, the mower is also low noise and vibration to make moving less disruptive.

The mover was bought from EcoTeq, an Australian owned and operated company, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
