Live Q&A with Mental Health advocate, Osher Günsberg, and Bupa

Staff are invited to join Bupa and Mental Health advocate, Osher Günsberg for a live Q&A on Wednesday, 11 October. You may recognise Osher as host of TV shows including The Bachelor, The Masked Singer and Australian Idol. You might also recognise his voice from Bondi Rescue. You may not know that behind the cameras, Osher spent many years battling anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.

Osher has long advocated for mental health on his podcast, Better Than Yesterday and highlights just how much work there is to do in Australian suicide prevention in the SBS documentary, Osher Günsberg: A Matter of Life and Death, which also aims to give hope to those struggling.

Osher joins us to share his personal journey of lifelong struggles with his own mental health and breaking the stigma of this silent illness. In his talk he will shed light on his own experience with the hope it will encourage conversations between friends, family and colleagues. But more importantly, emphasising the need to seek help when you’re struggling with mental health issues.
