UNE’s NAIDOC Fair was held on Wednesday 5th July in the Lazenby Annex and Northern Courtyard of Café Life.
There were a number of stalls and workshops that staff, students and community were able to participate in including a food tasting workshop, painting workshop, scratch art, weaving, beading, smoking ceremony and story time with a number of books that were read to kids while they relaxed on beanbags.
UNE Life held a free buffet for all to enjoy and overall the event was well attended with staff and students coming and going throughout the day.
Thank you to Oorala, UNE Life and People and Culture for organising, and to everyone who came along to discover more about our indigenous culture.
