UNE’s new Research Information Management System (RIMS), Pure, was opened up to all researchers on 28 November to streamline the process of research project funding administration.

Pure manages the end-to-end project approval process using a new bespoke portal where applications can be tracked and managed right through the award management lifecycle.

All researchers applying for project funding approval, and researchers with a current award, are now asked to use Pure for their administrative processes. The Word document-based Project Approval Form is no longer accepted by the Grants team.

Pure also delivers up-to-date information about funding opportunities. Researchers can apply for an opportunity straight from the RIMS.
