The Computer Science department at UNE is looking for participants who are interested in working with students on a software based project.
This is a great opportunity for students to gain real world experience and provide assistance to academics or a specific department in the development of a software application. The participant will act as a client for the student and provide initial requirements, with the client providing feedback at the end of the teaching period.
Projects can include application development, machine learning and data mining. The level of interaction will depend on the complexity of the problem, but most students will work independently. Expression of interest is now open for Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 teaching periods, project selection will depend on the applicability of the project in question.
If you are interested or want to know more, please contact compsciprac@une.edu.au with a description of your problem.
