For many, 2021 has proven to be a difficult and stressful year. While we all process stress differently it’s important to know that there is support and help available should we need it.
UNE provides access to free confidential and proactive support for staff through its Employee Assistance Program, Benestar. Benestar’s MyCoach service is available for both individuals and people leaders. For individuals, they can assist in matters ranging from relationships, creating a better work-life balance and mental health support. For people leaders, they are able to assist in guiding your team through change, how to support team members and deal with challenging situations in the workplace.
Regardless if it’s an everyday matter or more serious wellbeing concern you’re experiencing, Benestar has a range of health and wellbeing resources to help and support staff. These resources can be accessed at any time and from anywhere through the Benehub portal. Further information on how to register or log in can be found on the Counselling for Staff (EAP) webpage.
Alternatively, should you prefer a face-to-face, phone, video or online live chat consult, you can book an appointment by visiting www.benestar.com or reach out to Benestar’s clinicians by dialling 1300 360 364.
