A team from the Bureau of Meteorology & CSIRO is seeking producers and farm business advisers willing to be part of the co-design of a new digital climate information service specifically for the agriculture sector.

Funded through the Federal Government’s Future Drought Fund, the $10 million Climate Services for Agriculture program aims to help farm businesses with on-farm decision making.

ON TUE 15 JUNE, ALISTER HAWKSFORD FROM THE BOM’S AGRICULTURE PROGRAM WILL BE PRESENTING ON THE CLIMATE SERVICES FOR AGRICULTURE PROGRAM. HE WILL DISCUSS WORK TO DATE & DEMONSTRATE AN EARLY PROTOTYPE.

Alister is looking to meet and hear from farmers in this region to determine the type of climate information that is most relevant to their businesses, and how this information can be best delivered.
