Every year the Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution hosts a Christmas Card Competition with local early childhood services and schools to help foster intergenerational relationships.
In the spirit of Christmas, the children of UNE’s preschool centre, Yarm Gwanga, submitted plenty of colourful entries in line with this year’s theme My Dream Christmas. All designs were judged by village residents and a winner from each school was chosen.
Much to their delight five-year old Isabella, and almost-five-year-old Milorad were named as winners. isabella’s card depicted a new house, her family and presents while Milo’s were more traditional showing a tree with decorations.
Isabella and Milo each received a winner’s certificate, $50 book vouchers and 20 Christmas cards based on their designs to share with friends and family this Christmas.
Congratulations Isabella and Milo!
