A planned Callista 20.0 upgrade will begin at 3pm on Friday 18 May 2018. The upgrade follows two previously successful test system upgrades. The planned outage will start on Friday 18th May at 3pm and be completed by Monday 21st May, late morning. An outage message will be placed on myUNE, Facebook and the Insider’s Guide Blog advising students of the unavailability of online services associated with Callista.
Systems that will be offline include:
- Callista (Production)
- Online Line Enrolment (OLE)
- myUNE
- eReserve (Library)
Systems that rely on updated data from Callista but will still be available include:
- Student Relationship Manager (SRM)
- Moodle
- Finance One
- Business Intelligence
- UNE Registration System (URS)
- Automated Wellness Engine (AWE)
- APEX Reporting
- APEX UNE Student Association (SA) Application
- APEX UNESA Reporting
- APEX Early Entry
- Course and Unit Meta Database (CAUMDB)
- Oorala Targeted Tutorial Assistance (TTA)
Access to Online Admissions for prospective students will not be affected as this is via the UAC Connect and Oracle Service Cloud (SRM) application portals. No data will transfer through to Callista until after the upgrade has completed. There are also no critical enrolment dates surrounding the upgrade.
Staff are reminded to make sure they have logged out of Callista by 3pm on Friday and are asked to not schedule any large or long running jobs after 2pm.
An email will be sent advising when the Callista upgrade has been completed.
